PARENT QUOTES FROM THE SUMMER OF 2009

This is just the initial feedback from W. during the car ride home (from Boundless). Amazing, Amazing, Amazing. That was the best experience of my life. We woke up beside waterfalls, rapids and beautiful beaches. A direct quote "the sights I've seen you just can't put a price on". Mom and Dad I want to thank you so much for introducing me to "Boundless". Wow, what more could a parent ask for! Thanks again for everything.

Hi Boundless: Both A and J. thought it was fantastic, they were thrilled with the higher water levels, some of the storms, the food, the counsellors and the camaraderie. Both of them seemed to come away from this experience with a greater sense of who they are. They seem very accepting of themselves and what their qualities are and don't feel the need to change to be accepted or to fit in with peers.

I really appreciate the tough safety standards you maintain. C. came back with a strong sense of the dangers she confronted and the caution required.What she seemed to like best were:

From all the stories she has told me I can tell she has learned how to see the best in many different people. She is very proud of the Rapids she has conquered.

He LOVED boundless.He had a great time and he said he actually learned a lot. He mentioned he learned how to read the rapids, how to tie all kinds of different knots, how to read the clouds, and how to build a sauna. The last of which he plans on doing in our back yard!

I just could not wait to email you (Boundless) and tell you how excited my son was when he came home. He could not say enough about his two weeks. He loved every moment and said on a scale of 1-10 his trip was an absolute 10!!!

Dear Boundless. You made promises and you have kept them - in spades!
It took some major persuasion on my part. I must admit I was practically holding my breath the entire 2 weeks. I was waiting when the buses pulled in to the parking lot yesterday and I spotted W.'s face in one of the windows. He was smiling - no, grinning! We came closer and watched as he collected his gear and said good-bye to some of the others - he was still grinning! I swear he has grown in that short time. Or perhaps it was that he was holding himself differently, walking with new assurance. He refused his father's offer to carry the duffel bag and swung the heavy bag over his shoulder as though it were filled with feathers. He was still grinning. He exuded an energy, a joy. When I asked him to give me one word to describe his experiences, he said "AMAZING!" His father asked if he would like to go back again next year, the word "YES" exploded from his mouth in a split second. And, in the next split second, he said he wants to attend full time

Hi Boundless: E. absolutely loved the entire experience!!

The highlight of course was the white water canoe trip and she said it was a blast. There was nothing negative at all to say. She had so much fun with her new friends and said the leaders especially were excellent. And yes this was the kid that was “forced” to go. But she was very enthusiastic once there so we’re both glad she went. And of course she wants to again.

I really appreciated the updates you (Boundless) sent, it was very helpful and insightful just to know a bit of what was going on. All the groups sounded great. Thank you for everything and taking such good care of E.

Good day: I am the proud parent of J. When he returned to me he was very proud of all he had accomplished in such a short time! He says it was a life changing experience because he was able to do things he never thought he was capable of doing. He continues to keep in touch with a few of his classmates, and I am still hearing about different experiences as they come to mind. He talks about wanting to go back, or maybe even work at or lead a group at such a camp one day.
