Grade 12 Healthy Active Living Education – Outdoor Activities (PAD40)

Choose from one of the following sessions:

July 1 to July 13
July 15 to July 27
Aug 3 to Aug 15
Aug 22 to Sept 3

These courses challenge and inspire students through various outdoor adventure pursuits that promote skills for individual and group success. White water canoeing, climbing, ropes courses, river rescue, an intensive adventure race and a wilderness river trip are all elements to this unique curriculum.

These activities will challenge students individually and as members of a close-knit team. Living and learning together for 13 days in a fun and enriching atmosphere will enhance students’ interpersonal skills and their relationships with others. This course will culminate with a 5-7 day white water expedition on one of Eastern Canada’s great rivers.

This is a full credit, 110-hour course based on Ministry of Education curriculum. Think of a semester in just 13 days! We consistently have long, fun and exhausting days that involve individual and cooperative work, assessment and evaluation

Course Tuition: $2200 CAD
Tuition includes:
  • Transportation to and from Toronto

  • All costs related to obtaining the high school credit
  • Communication with the student’s home school guidance department to forward marks and transcripts
